MasterMinds, Active Learning Workshops
Students will work together in teams to explore new ideas and take on creative challenges in our new and exciting programs based on the NC Standard Course of Study. Globetrotters and Inventor’s Challenge are the first two offerings in this series.

IMAX Learning Labs
Give your students an exciting IMAX adventure. The only 3D IMAX experience in NC, now offers optional Learning Labs which incorporate and expand on lessons taught in the IMAX documentaries.
Whatever your field trip includes, a museum and movie combo or simply a visit to the IMAX Theatre, you can add on an IMAX Learning Lab to enhance the experience!

A school group is a group of students and chaperones from an accredited educational institution representing grades K-12 OR a Preschool or Daycare established as an official business.

Group Prices (10+ people)
A group is eligible for the group rate if the party consists of 10 or more people. One consolidated payment in full is required in order to honor the group rate.

* Children under the age of one (1) who do not require their own seats for IMAX films are free of charge and do not require a ticket. Any child under the age of one (1) who is admitted free to a sold out show must sit in the lap of a parent or guardian.
Bus Drop-Off
Bus drop-off and pick-up takes place in front of the building on Hargett Street. For more information on Bus parking, please contact our Group Sales Coordinator at 919.857.1049.
Preorder Concessions
Marbles Kids Museum is pleased to offer specially priced concessions for our group visitors! To take advantage of this generous discount, your group concessions order must be submitted via email no later than three business days before your visit.
The following are available as preordered concessions:
Box of candy for $1.50
Small box of popcorn and a drink for $2.50
Drink Choices include – Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Fanta Orange, PowerAde Bue, and Deer Park bottled water

To pay for an order
Please bring one check to cover the entire order. To receive an invoice, you must provide us with a completed purchase order on the day of your visit. Individual payments will not be accepted.To pick up an order
Teachers and chaperones will be responsible for distributing the concessions to their group.
Please arrive at the IMAX building 10-20 minutes before your film starts to pick up and distribute your order.
